Classes

Eight ways
in.

Everything we run, what it actually involves, and who it is for. If you would rather not read all of it, answer three questions below and we will pick for you.

Which class

The reformer studio at The Barn

Before you come

The bits nobody
tells you.

What do I wear?
Something you can move in that is not so baggy we cannot see what your spine is doing. Leggings and a fitted top is the usual. Bare feet on the mat. Grip socks on the reformer, and we sell them at the door for six pounds if you forget.
Do I need to bring a mat?
No. There are mats, bands, balls, blocks and magic circles at every venue. Bring water and that is genuinely it. Plenty of people bring their own mat anyway because it is nicer, and that is fine.
I have an injury. Can I still come?
Almost certainly, but tell us first. Fill in the health form when you book and Gabby will read it before you arrive rather than during. If something needs a proper look, we will suggest a one to one before a group class rather than after.
How fit do I need to be?
Not at all. Foundation and Steady both assume you have done nothing for a while. The reformer is often kinder on a stiff body than the mat is, because the springs hold some of you up.
What if I cannot get down to the floor?
Come to Steady. Everything in it is done from a chair or holding one. Nobody in that room is on the floor and nobody minds.
Can I try one before committing?
Yes. Pay as you go is £14 for a mat class and £24 for reformer, no strings. Or take First Steps, which is three classes in three weeks for £24 and is the cheapest way anybody sensible would start.

Still not sure?
Ring us.

Two minutes on the phone usually settles it faster than any amount of reading. Gabby picks up between classes.
